I want to begin this review by stating I’m not a fan of romance novels. By far every romance novel I’ve ever read with the exception of ONE has been a smut fest of entirely too much way too detailed sex and little else in the way of a story…However finding anything that isn’t a romance novel to read during the month of love is near impossible..
So I came upon this trilogy of novellas back in December.. I hadn’t read any of them since I got them.. and for some reason this one kindle book gives me such a hard time to open..
Anyway, being it’s February I tend to read nothing but books about Love, Cupid, Etc since it’s seasonal and I absolutely adore seasonal things.
I was a bit iffy about this book.. Keep in mind I don’t like romance novels… at all (even though most of the paranormal books I have are romances it seems to be inevitable this day in age) When I read a book it’s not for the steamy sex scenes.. I love books for their stories…
The Gypsy’s Valentine has all the making of a good book. There’s two sex scenes in the whole book.. both are short and flow into the story itself. Now the story actually brought tears to my eyes. It was a beautiful story and beautifully written. I would absolutely recommend this novella to anyone who enjoyed a good story… And I look forward to reading it again next February
